LOS ANGELES — Ela Darling, the adult performer and chief marketing officer of virtual reality company PVR.fun, will be the official red-carpet host of the inaugural Pornhub Awards in Los Angeles next month.
The Pornhub Awards recognizes porn stars, studios, scenes and trends that attract the most attention from porn fans. The show is slated for Thursday evening, Sept. 6.
The 3D 360-degree broadcast of the show in VR is being provided courtesy of show sponsor PVR.fun, an emerging leader in adult VR technology.
Ela Darling is known as a pioneer in immersive porn for innovating the first VR live cam platform and for being the first VR camgirl.
Darling recently joined the team at PVR.fun in time to promote the company’s stand-alone adult VR headset, the Iris.
“I’m excited to host the red carpet and to give viewers the chance to feel like they’re at the show themselves watching their favorite adult stars live in VR,” Darling said.
“It’s going to be a fantastic evening at the beautiful historical Bellasco Theater. It means so much to me to be able to represent PVR while interviewing some of the top talent at the Pornhub Awards show.”
PVR came aboard the adult scene earlier this year with VR hardware and software solutions, including the Iris headset, a new VR camera exclusively designed for adult VR content creators, as well as content distribution platform PVR.fun.
